Can Maggies Bring Home the Win?

11 03 2011

Tonight two teams will engage in a vicious battle on the field which will embark the start of a strenuous fight between two rivals; the 2010 Premiers, Collingwood and the new hopefuls Essendon with their new coach, an ex-player, James Hird. The two time running Nab Cup finalists Collingwood, puts forward their top players including Harry O’Brien, Dane Swan, Heath Shaw, Scott Pendlebury and Dale Thomas on to secure a win. But will this be enough for Collingwood? James Hird is striving his team forward to put a win in an empty belt, but will beginners luck help him succeed tonight?
Soon Collingwood’s coach Mick Malthouse will taste the newly reformed team which will fight till the death to give back Essendon supporters long awaited hope. Never the less, this match launches the forever new rivalry between both sides. But can James Hird live up to the reputation put forward by Malthouse?

However, today’s poll suggest that Australia is backing Collingwood, with 1.40 dollars to the defending Premier Champions to 2.90 dollars to the Bombers though; no one can predict what will happen tonight.  So, let the best team win.
